The Duvenbeck Group has around 6,000 employees at more than 35 locations throughout Europe. Founded in 1932, the family-owned company stands for comprehensive logistics services and maximum customer orientation. And this is a corporate culture that is practiced every day at Duvenbeck. The portfolio is consistently geared towards customer needs and ranges from conception to forwarding to contract logistics. Customers include, for example, the biggest brands in the automotive and automotive supply industry. The principle of just-in-time and just-in-sequence applies here. Duvenbeck wants to use digital workforce management to make personnel processes in contract logistics even more efficient and ensure optimal personnel deployment at all times. The owner-managed company is relying on the ATOSS Logistics Solution for its logistics locations in Germany and Hungary.
The rollout for the 500 employees at the Hungarian site in Kecskemét is already underway, with the introduction in Germany for 600 employees to follow shortly. The working times of 1,100 employees will then be recorded digitally and will be available for scheduling in real time. Country-specific laws, tariffs and regulations are automatically taken into account during planning. The required qualifications are also automatically included in the planning. This ensures that the right employees are always available at the right time. In future, planners will be able to fill workstations such as order picking, high-bay racking or engine prefabrication simply by dragging and dropping with the flexible staffing plan. The teams in Germany can view their working time account at any time via Self Services and are always well informed about their shifts. The result of the workforce management project: leaner processes, less administration, higher planning quality and just-in-time work.
