Social value contribution

HORNBACH Baumarkt AG has recently embarked on a new path with ATOSS. "Tailor-made working time" is the name of the model that was implemented with the ATOSS Retail Solution. Thanks to the flexible agreements, Hornbach employees can now optimally harmonize their professional conditions with their individual situation. Digital, easy-to-use self-services via app, preferred duty rosters and swap platforms make it possible to create this work-life balance and employee experience.

“We want to attract and retain committed employees at Hornbach. We also must create attractive framework conditions for this," explains Jochen Braun, member of the management board at Hornbach Baumarkt AG in Germany.

The effects: Satisfaction among the workforce rises to 80%, and Hornbach's attractiveness as an employer has increased significantly. This is evident from the steadily increasing number of applicants, fewer sick leave and a significantly lower fluctuation in the current workforce. Simple and so valuable.

As a company, we take our social responsibility seriously. Among other things, we have been supporting the Kinderklinik Ostbayern (KUNO) in the "I make Children's Eyes shine" campaign for several years.

To promote the private, social commitment of our employees, the ATOSS Impact Day was launched in 2023, which encourages employees to volunteer for a project of their choice.

For the love of art, we are part of the "Friends of the Pinakothek der Moderne e.V." and provide a member of the board of trustees.
