The Role
Join our dynamic SaaS sales team as a Working Student, where you’ll gain practical experience and valuable insights into lead generation and sales strategies. This role provides a unique opportunity to collaborate with our experienced sales colleagues and kickstart your own exciting career in sales!
Key Responsibilities:
- Dive into lead generation and prospect qualification, shadowing our Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) in their outreach efforts.
- Use Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to research and identify potential customers.
- Assist with account mapping by analysing target industries and identifying key decision-makers.
- Analyse industry trends and competitor activities to refine our go-to-market strategy, conducting SWOT analyses and researching customer pain points.
- Actively participate in SDR team meetings and sales pipeline discussions. Support us in evaluating lead conversion rates and crafting outreach messages.
- Help create PowerPoint presentations for internal reviews and customer proposals, with the guidance of senior sales staff and marketing teams.
Key Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s study, with a passion for sales and consulting.
- Knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and familiarity with sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC, SPIN selling) would be a strong plus.
- Proficient in MS Office, e.g. Excel for Data analysis, reporting, and lead tracking; PowerPoint for creating sales presentations; Word for drafting proposals and internal documentation.
- Excellent team player with strong communication and negotiation skills; a creative and proactive problem-solver.
- Business fluency in in both German and English.
- Availability: 15-20 hours/week.
