The Role 

As a Working Student, you will join a dynamic team responsible for developing and maintaining specialized testing tools used across the company. These tools are essential for testing web and mobile applications, ensuring the quality and functionality of the company’s products. You will collaborate closely with developers, QA teams, and CI/CD specialists to create and adapt tools that meet the evolving needs of the organization. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional software development environment while contributing to impactful projects. 

  

Key Responsibilities: 

• Developing and adapting testing tools/frameworks for web and mobile applications. 

• Implementing and updating modules for server and application testing. 

• Collaborating with QA, CI/CD, and development teams to understand their needs and provide technical solutions. 

• Writing and optimizing code in Java, using technologies like Selenium, MySQL, and Jakarta EE. 

• Ensuring the functionality of tools in line with new project requirements. 

• Participating in Agile/Scrum processes (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives). 

• Solving technical issues and providing support for teams using the developed tools. 

• Learning and applying new technologies (e.g., Azure Cloud, Selenium, Appium) through training and documentation. 

• Testing and debugging tools to ensure their quality and performance. 

 

  

Key Requirements: 

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science or a related field (preferably in your final year). 

• Basic knowledge of Java and an interest in learning more about Selenium, MySQL, and Cloud technologies (e.g., Azure Cloud). 

• Familiarity with backend or full-stack development is a plus. 

• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies and tools. 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  

  

Additional Information: 

• Location: only from Timișoara since this is a hybrid position that requires 2-3 days/ week at the office  

• Working Hours: Part-time (4-6 hours/day) or full-time, depending on your availability and the position.
