Junior Back-End Java Developer for Timisoara (m/f/d)

The Role:

As a Software Developer, you will play a key role in designing and developing our applications using state-of-the-art JAVA technologies and development processes. You will collaborate with a skilled team in Timișoara and Munich to deliver innovative solutions that address real-life customer needs, while ensuring long-term efficiency and technological advancement. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, a passion for learning, and the ability to contribute creative ideas to complex applications. Your expertise in JAVA, combined with a commitment to excellence, will drive value and innovation within our development team.

Your tasks: 

• Design and develop applications using Java, Spring, Spring Boot and other modern technologies.
• Work on both legacy systems and Cloud Transformation, migrating monolithic applications to microservices.
• Collaborate with the team to find efficient and innovative solutions.
• Model processes using an in-house tool that allows clients to design their own workflows through drag-and-drop graphs (e.g., leave management applications, overtime calculations, etc.).
• Perform employee calculations and forecasts (e.g., overtime, compliance with country-specific regulations).
• Define rules and notifications in task management systems (e.g., TO DO lists, warnings).

Your capabilities: 

• University degree in Computer Science
• Strong JAVA knowledge - at least one year hands-on experience in Java. 
• Commitment, willingness to learn
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Interested in developing a complex application and creating value with your own ideas
• Selenium, MySQL, Jakarta knowledge is a plus
• Good English language skills
